    Slow copy to Wasabi

    I'm using Wasabi Explorer, running it on the same Windows machine that my Nakivo Transporter runs on.  Wasabi Explorer also lets you increase the number of threads in use.  I cranked it up awhile ago, and now I'm getting speeds around 150 MBps (1200 Mbps) while Nakivo limps along at 20 Mbps

    I'll likely need to set up a test job for steps 1-3.  The backup that I'm trying to copy up to Wasabi now is 12TB, and I estimate it will take 8 more days to finish.

    We just purchased some Wasabi storage and starting a Nakivo copy job to get some of our data up in the cloud.

    The copy is running extremely slow, averaging about 10-15Mbps.  When I manually copy files into a Wasabi bucket (with another piece of software) I can get over 30MBps (240Mbps) easily, using the exact same hardware.  I know that Nakivo will create some overhead in copying from a local repository into a cloud repository, but this amount (16 times slower) is unacceptable.

    Is there a way to configure Nakivo to run this any faster?

    I have a similar issue/request.  It would be great if there was a way to interact with AWS Glacier via Nakivo.  I have a set of backups that are used for archival purposes, and I'm looking at storing them in Glacier.  Nakivo looks like it won't do this, meaning I'll need to use another solution to manage these archives.

    Has anyone tried using Nakivo with the AWS Tape Gateway while storing the data in Glacier?

    Right, I think we're on the same page here.  My thought was to use a Nakvio director in AWS to manage local transporters and repositories.  Theoretically, this would mean our Nakivo install would survive a catastrophic (on prem) data center event, and we could restore from an offsite repository without rebuilding Nakivo first.

    Is it possible to deploy Nakivo into an EC2 instance?  Is there a pre built AMI for a Nakvio director?  ...and if so, can I migrate a local Nakivo install to EC2 by backing up my config and restoring on EC2?

    I'd like to see if Nakivo can compete with Amazon's AWS Backup to protect on prem VMWare, utilizing local (on prem) Nakivo transporters and repositories across a VPC... all with a portion of our backups replicated to an S3 bucket (maybe Wasabi) to protect us in the event of a major disaster.

    Tape Backup

    Is there something special that I need to do to my transporter to get it connected to a tape drive?

    I'm working on this in a demo environment before I roll it into production... I have a Windows transporter setup and the machine is hooked up to a VTL, but I don't have a tape "tab" under settings.
