  1. I followed the instructions above to install 10.6 but the package showed it needed repaired. Ran repair and it says
  2. I thought this was all good to go now. I just updated Nakivo to 10.5 on a Synology nas, then updated the nas to DSM 7.1 update 1. Now it says Nakivo Backup and Replication Stopped. The package version is incompatible with your DSM. And the nakivo website says You can download the package for DSM 7 only from the Synology Package Center. But there's no option to update Nakivo from the Package center.
  3. Thanks. That seems to have done the trick.
  4. I'm having issues removing it on a Synology NAS on DSM7 as well. Had to remove the # after libs for it to find it. Then it gives this permissions error. I changed the permissions so the szadmin user has access to the backup folder but it didn't make a difference, even after ssh back into the nas. szadmin@NAS02:/volume1/@appstore/NBR/libs$ zip -q -d log4j-core*.jar org/apache/logging/log4j/core/lookup/JndiLookup.class zip I/O error: Permission denied zip error: Could not create output file (log4j-core-2.2.jar) szadmin@NAS02:/volume1/@appstore/NBR/libs$
  5. I found Nakivo 10.4.0 is in the Synology package center and I'm installing it now.
  6. Care to share how to make it works? I just downloaded the Nakivo package for 10.4.1 and tried to manually install it and it says This Package requires DSM7.0-40000 (update 0) or older....
  7. Might help to post in Synology's community forum. It won't let me post the link here, but search for Nakivo and DSM 7 and you'll find the posts.
  8. Post in the forum here https://community.synology.com/enu/forum/1/post/148203?reply=462158 to get more activity on Synology's side, since the ball is supposed to be in their court.
  9. I did that already. It's not that simple, I have 5hr+ into getting that done. Then I'll still have to switch it back once Nakivo is supported on DSM 7. There needs to be a better solution.
  10. Should be able to download it from here https://archive.synology.com/download/Os/DSM but the nas would have to be on a new nas without dsm 7 already installed.
  11. Can't you manually download and install the 6.x version dsm file? Used to be able to do it that way.
  12. I ran into this problem on a clients synology that had a faulty factory reset button. It reset itself, so DSM had to be reinstalled. It automatically installed DSM 7. Ok, fine. Then I go to reinstall Nakivo and find out it isn't compatible. Spent about 5hrs moving Nakivo to the server and recreating the backups. This was a month ago on Aug 25. Sure would be nice to get this fixed.
