    @heyho, I think it depends on the situation. Some of the controllers might not be supported by your OS, hardware version or device type. Plus, you will need additional controllers for the disk drives. So really, sometimes it is a necessity more than anything.

    @heyho, I guess 2 GB of RAM isn't really enough. You should check the CPU and RAM requirements because overload is the most typical reason for slow performance.
