Set Retention for specific date backup

Hi, 

we would like to have a features like setting a specific backup job dated on specific date to not to overwrite or for specific reason for long term retention. 

or is there any other way then using retention in the existing NBR?

Please note that this feature is already implemented. You can go to recovery points and configure the section "protected until".
