14 days to go on trial

2 Repositories

Add 365 link - all OK!

When I go to create a backup "JOB" - all options to select a backup type are "GREYED" out.

See image attached.

Why?

Hello, @LJV, thank you for your thread, it will help other users with the similar issues. Please, hover a mouse over the greyed-out field. A hint should appear. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi - a year later, and wondering whether this was ever resolved?
I have almost exactly the same issue - I added two physical repositories, and successfully added a Sharepoint site. But I can only add a 'job' for the physical repositories. The online options are greyed out, and the 'hint' that appears tells me only that there are no online repositories defined, which is clearly not the case.
Perhaps this is just a restriction of the trial version? If so, I think perhaps that should be made clear.

Thanks!

Hi @NDaisley,

It seems you're creating a Microsoft 365 backup job. Currently, only directly attached storage or locally mounted shares are supported as destinations for SaaS repositories. Cloud storage is not yet supported for Microsoft 365 backups.

We plan to introduce support for backing up Microsoft 365 to cloud storage in NAKIVO version 11.0 very soon. We keep you updated for the new release.

Please let us know if you have any further concerns.

Thanks for this answer, but that is exactly what i am attempting to do - to send a 365 backup to local storage. I thought I had set up the local storage correctly, very similar to the original poster. I have tested the 'physical machine backup job' as working, to that storage. Yet I have no option for creating a backup job to do likewise for 365, which is correctly linked.

Also, following app instructions from https://www.nakivo.com/blog/how-to-perform-sharepoint-online-backup/. to create a Node, it repeatedly fails (after server reboots etc) with 'internal errors', which is unhelpful, and seems to prohibit any further progress..
