cmangiarelli Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 I have a brand new environment running the latest vSphere 8.0 Update 3 and vSAN (ESA). I didn't realize that Nakivo 10.11.2 didn't officially support Update 3 when I deployed it. Backups have been functioning perfectly fine for the past month except for the dozens of errors being generated in the logs about the incompatible vCenter version. We are currently in UAT and expect to release the system live in the next month (or two). The customer will likely question system acceptance if they see these errors. Will we have a version of 10.11.x that will support Update 3 soon? Is there a way to turn off this error message from being reported? 1 Quote

Hi @cmangiarelli The NAKIVO team is doing their best to develop VMware vSphere 8.0 Update 3 support as soon as possible. It is expected to be released very soon. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please let us know. Quote
zelin Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 8.0.3 has been out for a long time. Why Nakivo still not updating yet? this could put our VMs at risk. 1 Quote

Hi @zelin Based on information from our Development Team, NAKIVO Backup & Replication version 10.11.3, which fully supports vCenter 8.0.3, is planned for release very soon. However, in the current version of NAKIVO, backup jobs technically should run fine with vCenter 8.0.3. Only a warning is shown, which does not influence backup consistency. Let us know if you have any other questions. Quote
Jacob L. Olsson Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 FYI - I have manually updated Nakivo to the 10.11.3 that now supports vCenter 8.0.3 1 Quote
