Hi,

I need to delete file backups for one virtual machine.

This machine, initially was in one job, but then I splitted the backup of this VM in other job.
I want to delete de old backup files (from the first job), but I can't do it.
Most of the backups are expired, and  seems that they are immutable for 20 days. the days have passed, but I cant still delete. What can I do?

their size is 7Tb on cloud, and this has a cost...

thanks!

You can delete the old backup files by following the steps below:

  1. Enable Expert Mode in NAKIVO Backup & Replication (Check out this guide to learn how).
  2. Enable the system.repository.remove.backups.used.by.job parameter.

This setting allows you to manually or automatically remove the backup objects associated with existing jobs.

You can also remove the last recovery point (RP) of the backup object in case this RP is due to be removed according to the retention policy.
