Endpoint security

Hi,@Garry.web!

It is great that you think about endpoint security as it is one of the weakest parts of the network. To protect your endpoints, consider the following:

  1. Educate your team about cybersecurity. Primarily, ensure having complex passwords, no administrator access for the employees that don't need it, regular security patch updates and general knowledge about how malware spreads.
  2. Organize your network to have more control over it. Keep track of each endpoint, and don't let your team use just any device to connect to the network. The best is to run a vulnerability test before allowing any device.
  3. Think of advanced protection. The antivirus isn't enough for decent protection. Consider event log collection, real-time protection, application whitelisting and other advanced features.
  4. Never neglect updates. Regular patches and licensing updates are crucial to securing your network. New versions can remove the bugs that make devices vulnerable.
  5. User automated detection solutions to identify breaches and monitor the environment continuously.
