In most cases, it is sufficient to deploy only one Transporter per site. In large environments, where multiple source items should be processed simultaneously, multiple Transporters can be deployed to distribute the workload. VovaUzh Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Can I configure two transporters to use the same repository? Or for two repositories that will be the same NFS-share? Or one repository that is NFS -share can use only one transporter? Quote
Official Moderator Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Repository could be processed only by one transporter at the same time. However, few repositories could be processed by one transporter, we recommend to attach not more than 5 repositories to one transporter. Quote
VovaUzh Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 OK, thank you. one more question: Is this algorithm of using one storage with two transporters possible? Quote
Official Moderator Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Yes, that algorithm of using one storage with two transporters is possible. But please pay attention that if second transporter will try to attach the repository, it could lead to the repository corruption. Quote
